Arion is a renowned and influential journal about The Classics. It has been published by Boston University since 1990, featuring some of the strongest editorial and academic voices in classic culture. Arion also focuses on linking classic heritage to the contemporary world.
The main purpose of this campaign was to significantly increase the number subscriptions to the journal, as part of a broader, more ambitious effort to make the publication self-sustainable and financially independent from its academic home, Boston University.
The email campaign needed to appeal a highly educated audience, creating awareness about Arion's mission and its relevance in today's world. Three different creative concepts and messages were created, in order to test and compare results simultaneously in real time
